I have known Lisa Ownby for a number of years. She is responsible, focused, listens and does what’s best.

Her family has lived in James City County for about 20 years. She and her husband, a local business owner, have raised four children in the local schools, and Lisa was active in local PTAs. She served on the Williamsburg-James City County School Board, getting a firsthand view of community involvement. She even served that board as its chairman.

Her future vision is county government and its ethical land use and protections.
